When I first became a Reiki Master I desperately wanted to start teaching. But I needed something that would raise me from the norm. I felt that my teachers had "padded out" the training course with long lunches, tea breaks or practising Reiki healing sessions which I later discovered were not really necessary after entry level.

I was looking for something that would add genuine value. It isn't necessary to add value (after all, Reiki is Reiki is Reiki) but how else could I start teaching when, to put it bluntly, everyone was teaching the same thing? How could I be different and encourage new students, not to mention uplift existing students and make me the one they came to?

It's a huge problem for new Masters or for those whose numbers are starting to fade. To be really successful at Reiki teaching you need something else other than standard practice. You need to step out, un-clone yourself and offer new ideas, ideas that complement and uplift Reiki. Ideas that excite and revolutionize without compromising exiting Reiki techniques in any way. You need to be different.

So I spent years perfecting new strategies and learning new complimentary ideas. I stepped outside of Reiki to find things that would ADD to Reiki, things that would fire up my students to get more out of each teaching session. I continually refined these techniques and explored new ones.

As a result my practice now thrives. Indeed there is often not enough time in the day because my services are so much in demand.

I was encouraged to write Reiki Revolution from a deep desire to help YOU go further. To give new Masters a direction and help old Masters invigorate their teaching.
